A site audit that runs 42 checks and tells you which ones cost you traffic

Most audits hand you a list of 42 things and leave you to guess which three matter. This one crawls the site, compares every finding to your last scan, and puts the ones worth fixing first.

It reads the site the way a crawler does

Aeoly fetches your pages, follows the links between them and builds the graph. That is what makes it possible to say which pages nothing links to, which links are broken, and which pages a crawler cannot reach at all. A checklist run against one URL cannot tell you any of that.

  • Obeys robots.txt, including Crawl-delay. It reads and never writes.
  • Finds orphan pages by building the internal link graph, not by guessing
  • Checks the links that leave your site too, because a dead one is still your problem

Every finding says why, and what to do

A finding without a reason is a chore. Each one here carries the sentence that explains what the check is for, the fix in plain words, and whether Aeoly can make the change for you. Safe ones become a one-click correction with a before, an after, and a link back to the finding that caused it.

Compared to your last scan, not to nothing

A score on its own is a vanity number. The audit re-runs on a schedule and every finding is diffed against the previous crawl, so you see what you actually fixed, what came back, and what is new since the last release.

Questions

Do I need an account to run it?
No. The free scan reads up to 40 pages and shows you the score and the counts without an account. Signing in with Google turns that scan into your first audit rather than re-running it.
Will it change anything on my site?
Not by itself. The crawler only reads. Fixes are applied when you ask for them, and each one records what it changed.
